During the course that bulk material is being loaded and unloaded, it is very important to feed the material evenly and distribute them to different belt conveyor which lead to their respective destionation. Typical methods employed include the following: material in the chute moves to the feeder through vibration then is transported to the forking funnel through the belt conveyor. The forking tunnel transports material to two different belt conveyor. In such a case, material goes through many drops and changes of transport means. Any deviation in any places might cause problems in which the block of the material flow, as small problem and the machine to runout as extreme cases.
Our company has absorbed many precious experiences in the research, design and manufacturing of this key segment in both China and overseas countries and developed our own low speed rubber belt transporting, unloading and feeding system, which makes it possible to load and distribute material very easily according to their different desinations. It has very simple construction, scientific transport, reliable operation and convenient maintenance etc. The whole system consistes of upper loading funnel, short distance ow speed rubber belt conveyor(the upper part), lower loading funnel and distrbutive unloading opening(the lower part).
2 Working Principle of Unloading and Distributing Material
Material in the loading funnel is transported into the lower loading funnel through the short distance low speed belt conveyor. The distribution gate inside the loading funnel may turn the gate to the desired unloading opening according the material flow directional requirement. The material folws towards the belt conveyor on the ground (or towards the specially set gate) through the unloading opening. The main function of the upper short distance belt conveyor is to convey the material in the loading funnel evenly to the lower loading funnel according the material flow to be requirement, which an essential step to optimizethe whole system and make it impossible for the material flow to be unstable. The excellent design and remarkable attachment of a short distance low speed belt conveyor makes the whole system have wonderful buffer effect, stable performance, reliable operation, long lifespan and less maintenance requirements, If the belt conveyor can work together with funnel sensor and PLC control, it should have even better effect, Since there is always material inside the funnel, if continuousey supplying material to the upper loading funnel, this works out some buffer effect for the belt and impact idler. The lower loading funnel has two unloading openings that can be connected to two belt conveyors on the ground. When the distribution gate closes one unloading opening inside the distributive funnel, material goes through the other unloading gate, which means that material is distributed. On the front side of the loading funnel, there is a wear resistant guide device. The distribution gate in the distributive funnel is moved by an electric drive pusher or hydraulic cylinder. Therefore, it is very easy to be contruolled and not likely to have any mistake in operation. The most important advatage of this system is that transport distance can be exepanded according to the working condition. In case there is an individual need to distribute material, the lower material distrbution system can be used alone through it is better to use the two parts together.
3 The System Construction
This transport machine combines a material vibration machine and conveyor belt machine into one machine, which has framework, conveyor belt, impect idler, driving apparatus ,tail pulley ,cleaner, anti-deviation switch, emergency trip switch and etc. Please refer the details in the following drawing. Loading and forking funnel consists of thop loading funnel, panel, adjustement devic3 ,forking funnl and distribution gate rotating device etc.
2 Characteristic of This System
The low speed belt conveyor uses special No.2 type highly wear and shock-resistant belt. The loading opening has intensive rubber impact idler to decrease air pressure, improve bearing capacity and increase machine's span.
There is sealing belt along the two sides of the converyor belt to prevent material leakage. The sealing belt is of wear resistant rubber and has a universal olcking device that is easy to be installed and remobed.
There are three combinations of drving motor, reducer and transmit mechanism: Firstly, the motor and reducer are right and alignment are angements (which can be according to the customer's requirement). The other one adopts a more compact electrical pulley built-in transmit and frequency transformation speed adjustment function, with which, customer may control and adjust evenly the transport material flow accordingly.
The tail rotatory pulley is a drum type made by the wax meld casting technology, which may also produce stainless steel welding structure or residue extraction lulley ,and through the tensioning device of the belt conveyor, can adjust the tension of the belt so that effectively makes it run in a balanced ,reliable and correct way.
The belt is cleaned by a new method, in which a reverse rotated steel wire cleaning device by its own driver or steely rubber flexible cleaning device cleans the belt.
According to the material's different requirement, the drive pulley uses herring bore rubber casting rotatory pulley to increase the driving force.
The loading opening may adopt the adjustment device with adjustable panel. The panel has new wear-resistant liner. The liner adopts the most updated technology-there are a lot of the small cone on it effectively decrease the abrasion of the wear liner by the friction and impact between the materials.

This system combination can be decided according to the belts of four different belt width and different transport speed in order to reach the required capacity.
